The store owner and all of the employees were very helpful, bringing us towels and standing with us, offering kindness and help. They were very understanding. The food was hot and wonderful as usual. “ Had to pick my wife up from the airport the other day. We decided to have lunch before heading home. We didn't want the standard chain restaurant or fast-food stuff, so we searched on line, found this place and decided to give it a try. And we are glad we did! We got the lunch portions of "fried shrimp and fried oysters" and "fried catfish and fried shrimp" with sides of fries and cole slaw (yes, we are fried seafood nuts). The hushpuppies were just like we like them, crispy exterior, fully cooked interior and a hint of sweetness. Orders were delivered promptly and were piping hot. The fries could have been a bit crispier. Other than that the food was delicious. If you like fried seafood and don't want the usual chain-restaurant fare, give this place a shot. The waitstaff are friendly, courteous and attentive without being annoying. Highly recommend! ”
